Now everyone wants to work with Sonakshi Sinha!

image

Sonakshi Sinha or the Rajjo of 'Dabangg' has shot to instant fame due to her village belle act in the block buster with Salman Khan as the male lead where the two shared an amazing on screen chemistry. Such was the impact of the movie that it made Salman Khan immediately say yes to the next project with Sonakshi which is titled Kick.

Right after that the amazing beauty has also bagged a role opposite the favorite action man of B town Akshay Kumar in a project titled Joker, which is touted to be in 3D.

Both the new movies are to be Shirish Kunder's films and with these two big movies in her kitty, Sonakshi was being seen as one of the most promising new comers who were on top of the charts even before anyone realized it.

Recent reports doing the rounds suggest that Sonakshi Sinha is being considered to be cast in many top big banners and even top actors like Anil Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan who have their own production houses are said to be keen on taking her as the female lead in their future projects.

Sonakshi Sinha has indeed been quite a lucky gal not only for herself but also for the film in which she is starring, taking the case of Dabangg and perhaps it is due to this that she is also being offered an astounding one crore for her forth coming projects.

What Sonakshi Sinha has achieved is something which is quite praiseworthy, as reports suggest that even stars like Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor and he like did not get such astronomical fees right after their debut films.

Well with Salman Khan's golden touch and her lovely looks Sonakshi is surely hopping up the ladder to success with aplomb!

Shahana Goswami goes from Bold To Bolder!

image

Shahana Goswami, who shot to fame with her demure and girl next door acts in Firaaq and Rock On!, is no more happy playing the coy girl on screen.

Armed with a sensuous dusky look, it was but natural that Bollywood make use of the actress’ face for bold and sexy characters. According to reports in the media, bold and sexy is exactly where Shahana Goswami is going with subsequent performances in Bollywood.

The young Bengali actress who had vowed to herself that she will become an actress in Bollywood in spite of the fact that she has no godfather in the industry, has slowly and steadily carved a niche for herself in the minds of producers and directors in Mumbai.

Shahana Goswami has received all the accolades for her demure acts on screen and she is now grabbing a large number of eyeballs by shedding all her inhibitions for the cameras.

Shahana Goswami’s future projects are Mirch and Game. While Game portrays the actress as a seductive journalist, Mirch is an out and out erotic film with women’s sexuality as its main subject.

According to reports circulating in the media, Shahana Goswami is working hard to project herself as the next sex symbol of Bollywood.

While healthy food is part of her everyday diet, the actress is taking time out from the projects at hand to participate in various activities like water sports and has also chalked out a workout regimen to get the perfect toned body required to play the seductive in her future films.

There are no problems with Sanjay Dutt: Akshay Kumar

Mumbai, Oct 16 (IANS) Akshay Kumar is tired of replying to queries about his so-called rivalry with 'Blue' co-star Sanjay Dutt. Setting the record straight, he says this is a figment of someone's imagination and they don't have any problems whatsoever with each other.
'Please, in this forum, let me state this for perhaps the last time ever - 'There are no problems between Sanjay Dutt and me,' Akshay told IANS.
Since the shooting of 'Blue' commenced around a year ago, there was talk of tension between the two stars.
'Yeh sab bekaar ki baatein hain (all this is ridiculous talk). People can imagine something and start writing about anything that comes to their mind. We live in times when such unnecessary gossip makes headlines.
'In fact, I went for 'Mata Ki Chowki' (prayer function) at his place. Would I have done that had there been any problems between us?' asked the actor who is currently shooting for 'Houseful'.
Akshay and Sanjay haven't worked in a film together for a long time. Their last release was director Raj N. Sippy's 'Amaanat', which had incidentally released Oct 14 in 1994. Now, after exactly 15 years, the two actors are seen again in 'Blue'.
What took them so much time to patch up?
'What patch up?' asked Akshay in an exasperated tone. 'Rani Mukerji has been around for 13 years. Her first film was 'Raja Ki Aayegi Baaraat' (1996). Still, both of us have never worked together. Does it mean that we were having a rivalry of sorts and hence would require some kind of patch-up to prove to the world that everything is fine between us?'
He is also happy to declare that Sanjay is the hero of the film and he is the villain.
'That's the fact. He is not just a hero but also has a heroine (Lara Dutta) opposite him. On the other hand, I have sharks as my leading ladies. I don't mind though. It's still better than having none at all. Remember, in 'Hera Pheri', Suniel Shetty had Tabu while I was without a heroine,' joked Akshay.
Isn't he bothered about the fact that he won't be hogging all the limelight?

'It is not always the matter of footage. It's about how far you can indeed go in the role that you get to play in the film. You can be a villain and still make an impact. I have just followed Tony's vision here. Whatever he asked me to do, I did it. If 'Blue' works (and I am positive it will), all credit goes to Tony. He has done a tremendous job.' Also starring Katrina Kaif and Kylie Minogue, 'Blue' is releasing Friday.

When Aamir and SRK acted together...

Recently, Aamir Khan posed a question to the entire cast and crew of his ongoing movie' Three Idiots'. He asked them which was the movie wherein he along with Shahrukh Khan came together in a scene? While many were scratching their heads as to when this happened, the naughty star gave the answer. It was way back in the year 1993 in the movie 'Pehla Nasha' which was directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. Both Aamir and SRK appear for one shot in the same frame at a film premier sequence.

SRK to walk the ramp for KJo, Aamir for Salman

Industry has been divided into two and now the Khans war also reached to a different level. Their rivalry now hit to ramp. Filmmaker Karan Johar has turned designer recently and he announced that his best pals Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan will walk the ramp to showcase his designer clothes.

Shefali speaks on award

Shefali Shah feels she deserved, and got the National Award for her performance in Rituparno Ghosh's The Last Lear rather than the Anil Kapoor-produced Gandhi My Father. She was nominated for both the performances. Shefali mentions that it was such an honour to be nominated for two performances but Last Lear was much more difficult. Playing a real-life character, Kasturba and that too with an emotional and chronological graph that took her from young to old, gave her a lot of space to create her character.
