PCB reacts over Amir's Claim!!

The teenage fast bowler and rising star, Mohammad Amir told GEO TV of Pakistan that he wasn't told about the consequences of match-fixing by PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) earlier.

However, PCB declined his claims saying a player's contract does have the code of conduct for international matched and with special mention regarding match-fixing and mixing with strangers. And Amir signed the contract in 2010 after reading the contract - but PCB didn't mention either the contract was in Urdu or English.

Most of the Pakistani players come from a background where education is nil, reading Urdu or English would be as tough as 'kaala akshar bhains baraabar'.

Can anyone go and ask PCB whether they have made Amir understand about the contract in spoken words are left the 'uneducated' bowler to read and understand!!

Even when Google send us terms and conditions to read before registering an e mail address, in a lengthy 5-7 pages, do we really read them? May be most of the players are not knowing what is written in their contract but what they know is they have signed a contract to play for national team and for that they will be paid this much of amount!!!
